About the speakers

As Chief Technology Officer for AuditBoard, Haibei “Happy” Wang leads the Engineering and IT organizations in developing and scaling innovative technology solutions. Before joining AuditBoard, Wang served as the Chief Technology Officer at Everbridge, where she led worldwide product development, data, and artificial intelligence and machine learning teams. Prior to Everbridge, she spent more than 20 years in leadership roles at high-growth technology companies like ServiceNow and PayPal.

John Maeda is a noted American technologist, product experience leader, and author with deep expertise across B2B and B2C markets. He received the first White House National Design Award for algorithmically-generated visualizations informed by data and AI. John currently serves as VP, Engineering, Head of Computational Design/AI Platform at Microsoft. He’s formerly the CTO of Everbridge and has served on the board of directors for both Sonos and Wieden+Kennedy. His other diverse accomplishments include being a partner at Kleiner Perkins, Data Visualization Lead at MIT Media Lab, Head of Design & Inclusion at Automattic, and VP and Chief Experience Officer of Publicis Sapient. About John, Wired Magazine wrote:“Maeda is to design what Warren Buffett is to finance.”
