AI is moving fast, but the risks are real. Learn how internal audit must step up to provide essential assurance and oversight.

AI: Don’t forget the “A”

Description

Internal audit must play a pivotal role in overseeing risk and controls as organizations rapidly adopt AI to enhance efficiency, innovation, and strategy. AI is being embraced as the “holy grail”. This is a critical moment for internal audit to ensure risks are identified, mitigated, or transparently disclosed. It is essential to remind leadership that AI is “artificial” and that robust controls remain fundamental to managing risks and unintended consequences. This session will outline practical approaches for internal audit to provide assurance on how AI-related risks are managed within your organization.
