Russell R. Densmore is the Founder and Principal Consultant at PrivacyXperts Consulting, where he leverages his deep, multi-disciplinary expertise to fortify corporate defenses across cybersecurity, privacy compliance, Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital forensics, and enterprise risk management (ERM).
With decades of experience at the intersection of information security and regulatory policy,
Russell is a proven leader in establishing, scaling, and managing complex, cross-functional cybersecurity and privacy teams. His work focuses on integrating security strategy with business objectives, building robust, compliance-first cultures, and safeguarding critical data assets for organizations worldwide.
Russell is widely recognized as a thought leader in his field. He is the Chairman, Executive Editor, and Co-Author of the authoritative industry text, "Privacy Program Management – Tools for Managing Privacy Within Your Organization," spanning its first, second, and third editions. He has also served the broader community through his contributions to the official review of the prestigious CISSP certification exam.
His high-level expertise has been recognized by top government agencies, including commendation from the U.S. Attorney General and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) for his critical support in counter-cybercrime and digital forensic investigations.
Russell holds a Master of Engineering degree in Cybersecurity Policy & Compliance from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and Networks from Regis University. He maintains several top industry credentials, including CISSP, FIP, CIPM, CIPT, and CIPP US/E.

Hugo Teufel III is Vice President, Deputy General Counsel for Cyber, Privacy, and Records, and Chief Privacy Officer for Lumen Technologies (formerly CenturyLink) (NYSE: LUMN), a publicly traded global technology company with approximately $13B in annual revenue.
Hugo leads a team responsible for Lumen’s global privacy and records management programs, as well as the provision of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence legal advice and counsel to the company. Hugo brings more than 20 years of experience, centering on the changing landscape of privacy and security across a variety of sectors. He previously served in several leadership roles, including as Chief Privacy Counsel for Raytheon Company and as Chief Privacy Officer at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Hugo also served as a Judge Advocate in the Army National Guard for over 12 years.
Hugo has a B.A. in Economics with a minor in German from Metropolitan State University of Denver, a J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University, and an M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. He also holds CIPP/G, CIPP/US and CIPM certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals and Certificates in Privacy Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Strategic AI from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and AI Strategy from Cornell University. Hugo is a member of the Colorado bar.
