AI governance and the future of GRC: Balancing risk and opportunity

AI is revolutionizing GRC, but it also introduces complex risks. Learn the must-have building blocks for a robust governance program.

AI governance and the future of GRC: Balancing risk and opportunity

Description

AI is rapidly reshaping GRC by enhancing compliance workflows, improving risk predictions, and providing real-time insights. It also introduces complexities such as potential bias, lack of transparency, and the need for strong oversight.
To navigate these challenges, creating a robust AI governance program is essential. This program must be carefully designed to ensure AI systems are used responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Effectively building such a program requires clear frameworks for monitoring and managing AI risks and balancing automation with human oversight. As AI evolves, organizations must address these emerging risks while developing governance structures that foster innovation without compromising accountability. The future of GRC will rely on the ability to harness AI’s potential while mitigating its inherent risks through thoughtful and strategic governance.
