Description
How do we discover, visualize, and report on the emerging digital risks of systems, apps, third parties, and data? How can we discover these new digital risks quickly and act on them effectively? The answer is through an integrated risk management (IRM) approach that links strategic, operational, and technology risks to allow for better-informed decision making. Too often, we report things that seem relevant to the business but are ultimately too focused on vulnerability and not risk. During this session, you’ll learn about building clearer organizational context and establishing better alignment with the business direction.

Mr. Wheeler is a recognized expert, frequent speaker, and author on the effective use of risk management practices and technology in large and midsize businesses. His major areas of specialty include enterprise/operational risk management, integrated risk management (IRM) technology, executive leadership, and corporate governance. He has 30+ years of professional experience in a variety of roles spanning executive management, finance, risk management, audit, and IT.
