Tell us a little about Ochsner Health, and your IT audit team’s experience switching from your previous tool to AuditBoard.
“Ochsner Health is a local health system based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. I manage a team of six IT auditors, and we use the AuditBoard platform not just for my team, but for our entire department. This year our team has taken on a number of new initiatives such as the HIPAA security risk assessment as well as NIST cybersecurity framework assessments.” – Kelly Rollins, IT Audit Manager at Ochsner Health
“Before we started using AuditBoard, the tool we used was definitely a little clunky and not very fluid.” Adam Grantham, Senior IT Auditor
“We really wanted a platform that allowed us to do all the different things that we do within our audits, including surveys, timekeeping, risk assessments, audits, and internal controls. We wanted something that would do all of that — and do it in an easy-to-use fashion. I feel like the AuditBoard team set us up for success. You gave us everything we needed to plan and things to think through. Our team was able to quickly use the tool — it was a really smooth transition from our old product to the new one.” – Kelly Rollins, IT Audit Manager at Ochsner Health
How has AuditBoard enabled you to collaborate with your team and with the business?
“We work together to create templates for our different projects. We leverage the different work steps in the planning and reporting, as well as fieldwork work steps that we can copy over from one project to another. We clone a lot of projects — that way we can use the steps that are already created and any documentation that’s already in AuditBoard. We also leverage the documentation section of AuditBoard for the guides or templates that we want people to be using from a documentation perspective. We’re always working in the system across teams.” – Kelly Rollins, IT Audit Manager at Ochsner Health
“The comment section helps a lot when you’re working on different items as you’re going through your audit — especially when you’re not in the office and you can’t walk over to somebody and talk to them about it. That definitely helps with collaboration between the teams.” – Adam Grantham, Senior IT Auditor at Ochsner Health
“We’ve been using the WorkStream feature for our client surveys. Our clients really like interacting with the survey, and it’s really been our gateway to getting our clients involved in the tool.” – Kelly Rollins, IT Audit Manager at Ochsner Health
“Dashboards and reporting are our favorite feature in AuditBoard because it helps our teams and our clients to be able to visualize things better.” – Adam Grantham, Senior IT Auditor at Ochsner Health
What has the engagement been like with the AuditBoard team?
If you’re looking for a solution that’s going to help you and really be a partner with you, AuditBoard’s the way to go.” – Kelly Rollins, IT Audit Manager at Ochsner Health
