Meet Evan McParland, an Area Sales Director at AuditBoard and our 2025 win together value champion. Evan epitomizes this core value through his exceptional advocacy and leadership for the Velocity Sales Team. Tell us about your role at AuditBoard!
Evan: I lead the Commercial East Sales team’s go-to-market efforts here at AuditBoard. In this role, my focus is on driving revenue while building out and developing a team of hungry, smart sales reps.
What is the most valuable lesson you’ve learned at AuditBoard?
Evan: As cliché as it sounds, it takes a village. I’ve never met a group of more selfless business partners willing to help me and my teammates tackle problems and get things done. Doing your part by being proactive and taking initiative is essential — if you want the best results, you have to raise your hand.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Evan: The most rewarding part of my job is being able to watch my reps build their skill sets, close deals, challenge one another, and lift each other up.
How has AuditBoard helped you in your career development?
Evan: AuditBoard has provided me the opportunity to develop my skills in a high-impact role with visible contributions, pushing me into a zone that fosters creativity and problem-solving skills.
What advice would you give someone interested in a career in your field?
Evan: Take calculated risks, network as much as you can, be humble and coachable — you truly never stop learning.
