In the wake of AI-driven threats, ransomware attacks, and supply chain vulnerabilities, innovative CISOs are crucial to defending organizations from evolving threats. To recognize and celebrate those at the forefront of addressing these challenges, we selected 25 CISOs based on their commitment to elevating the front lines of cyber risk and sharing their experience with the infosec community.

AuditBoard is honored to present our second annual list of 25 CISOs to Watch, a compilation of the industry's most resilient and innovative minds. The list for 2025 celebrates some of the most forward-thinking cybersecurity leaders in a rapidly changing digital risk landscape.

Noopur Davis

Noopur Davis | Comcast

Dr. Magda Chelly

Dr. Magda Chelly | RiskImmune

Here’s a fun fact: as a child, Chelly participated in a game show in which contestants were dropped into a ball pit upon elimination. Now, Chelly focuses on building a more secure future for everyone.

CJ Moses

CJ Moses | Amazon

Before Amazon, Moses worked for the FBI, where he led technical analysis of computer and network intrusions. When he’s not at work, Moses moonlights as an SRO GT America GT2 race car driver.

Rich Agostino

Rich Agostino | Target

For Agostino, the best part of his job is that there’s always something new to learn. Some threat is always unaccounted for, some hacker is always trying to breach your systems, so the job is never done–and that’s the best part!

Jane Frankland

Jane Frankland | KnewStart

One of the proudest achievements of Frankland’s career is that 440+ women have received her IN Security scholarship. In this way, Frankland furthers education, provides connections, and empowers women in her industry.

Niel Eppinger

Niel Harper | JetBrains

Harper’s mantra is simple: organizations can’t use shiny new tools to replace effective cybersecurity. Instead, it’s critical to take inventory of key systems and then implement strong controls.

 Henrik Parkkinen

Henrik Parkkinen | WirelessCar

Parkkinen was obsessed with technology from a young age, like the newest computers and the latest gaming consoles. Now, he’s been in the tech game since 2002 and now works as a global leader in connected vehicle services.

Dan Lohrmann

Dan Lohrmann | Presidio

Not every CISO can claim they’ve hosted a fireside chat for the U.S. government. But Lohrmann’s list of achievements doesn’t stop there–he’s also the author of four best-selling books.

Randall Frietzsche

Randall Frietzsche | Denver Health

According to Frietzsche, it’s critical to think like a hacker, move like a hacker, and strategize like a hacker. As cybersecurity professionals, it’s the best way to protect our assets and stay one step ahead.

Darden Ford has focused her career on compliance, privacy, and the protection of enterprise technology assets. She’s built cybersecurity programs for healthcare, legal, and manufacturing enterprises, and has been inducted into the CSO 50 Hall of Fame.
